The FDB-24 provides 8, 16 or 24 SC ports in a traditional two-layer design – a rear splice area for cable slack and splice protection, and a front interconnect area for SC ports. The FDB-24 is suitable for indoor or outdoor FTTx applications that support up to 24 subscribers. It has a compact, light-weight wall-mountable housing with a weatherproof gasket and two PG16 weatherproof cable entry/exit ports. It easily accommodates 3 splitters, 24 splices and 24 SC ports.
The Opterna Fiber Optic 19? Sliding Patch Panel has been designed to facilitate internal fiber management and also to maximize fiber density in 1U, 2U and 4U height increments. The sliding tray provides easy access to fiber cabling, making this panel ideal for ?Pay as you Grow? applications. The panel supports 24 way, 48 way and 96 way configurations in SC Simplex, SC Duplex, ST/FC (D cut out), LC Duplex (SC simplex foot print), LC Quad (SC Duplex foot print). Versions are available with MTP MPO cut-outs on the back for use with pre-terminated MTP/MPO trunks.
Opterna flat drop indoor cables are constructed with a flat profile jacket containing one, two or four fibers. The optical fibers contained in the center of the cable are protected by dielectric strength members made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) embedded in the jacket on opposite sides of the fibers. The FRP strength members add mechanical strength to the low-profile fiber optic cable and protect the 250 ?m optical fibers against stress during installation and after installation.
